The Spanish Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA), The American Cinematheque and EGEDA cordially invite to:

The XIX edition Official Poster Art and new logo presentation on June 7th at The Egyptian Theatre.

And announce the 19th edition of Recent Spanish Cinema series that will showcase the most outstanding recent Spanish films at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles, October 10-13, 2013.

The poster and logo will be presented on June the 7th at The Egyptian Theater and in the website www.larecentspanishcinema.com

The image for the 19th Recent Spanish Cinema series in Los Angeles reflects the personality of cinema, fresh, vibrant, emotive, modern which will never cease to surprise.

To announce the 19th edition of the RECENT SPANISH CINEMA series this October, we celebrate as well the release of Pedro Almodóvar’s new film I’M SO EXCITED with a pair of classics from the director at the Egyptian Theatre “WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN” and “MATADOR”.

Annual showcase to see the best of Spain’s rich, vibrant and vital films first – on the big screen at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. Over 18 years, the Recent Spanish Cinema series has introduced international Spanish talents such as Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz and most recently audiences have enjoyed hearing from filmmakers like Bigas Luna, Alex de la Iglesia, Julio Medem, Benito Zambrano, and of actors including Angela Molina, Luis Tosar and Eduardo Noriega to name a few. In the company of the passionate, talented Spanish filmmakers and established artists.
